Honolulu Painting Co. Ltd. was founded in 1946, under the inspiration and guidance of Thomas White. In 1954, the move to a one acre complex in the Mapunapuna industrial area provided the opportunity to enhance and expand operations. In addition to providing on-site field industrial abrasive blasting, protective coatings and waterproofing, a fully contained 60′ shop blasting booth was constructed in 1968, to compliment shop coating capabilities.
With accelerated corrosion being an issue in Hawaii, a special coatings division was formed in 1970 with specific procedures to prep and provide corrosion protection for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
Our projects include applications for large complex industrial power plants and wastewater treatment plants, to troweled epoxy floor coatings at research labs, to fine architectural finishes in a bank.
Honolulu Painting Co. Ltd., has made quality performance as its basic goal, while at the same time, providing the best possible service to our customers.
For over 70 years, we continue to serve the Hawaiian Islands for your industrial coatings, commercial painting and waterproofing needs.
